The premieres and worldwide promo tours kicked off for Guardians of the Galaxy. I WILL be seeing it in the next couple of weeks and I’m SO excited!
This lovely little review of the film has washed away any doubts I had over it and proved why I am just as excited as I am about it all.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock it’s Glastonbury this weekend. Probably one of the worlds most famous festivals and rightly so, words can’t sum up how much I want to go..
Glasto attracts the rich and famous, wanting to let their hair down for the weekend and good for them. For them they can go and (kind of) get away without being too recognised.
Every year we get pictures in the magazines of the celebs looking absolutely delicious at festivals.. Make up perfect, amazing clothes which are still clean, hair still in tact or have perfected the tousled tangled look.
How do they do it!!!???
That’s right, money. And enough to secure a glamping section and/or a nice hotel where they can top up their make up/hair etc before going back out.
I envy them so much. When I’ve gone to festivals I look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards, everything is a mess and I look ridiculous. I don’t care because everyone else does and that’s the joy of it, thousands of people looking as shit as everyone else and not giving a single fuck. Beautiful.
I envy Jenna anyway because of just.. Everything.. But seeing her at Glasto makes me want to be there even more.
Damn her and her perfection.
Sidenote: apparently Matt is at Glasto too, Matt and Jenna together at Glasto but doing their own thing. I can’t deal..

Here we have the first official photo released from ITV Press Centre today of the new cast of Broadchurch Series 2!
If my Spidey-Senses are tingling right I can see 3 different generations or branches of Doctor Who in the same picture. I can’t deal…
So the new additions in this picture to the original cast include Eve Myles (Oh HI Gwen!), James D’Arcy on the far left with the red top (Anyone remember him from Secret Diary of A Call Girl!? phwoaarrr)
I don’t think I can handle having Tennant, Eve and Arthur Darvill in the same show, it’s like Chris Chibnall is deliberately and secretly trying to kill us Whovians, emotionally that is.
Anywho, on the whole I am mega excited for the new series of Broadchurch. Not gonna lie I was incredibly sceptical about a new series being commissioned, For me Broadchurch was and is one of the finest dramas we have ever produced. The way it captivated literally the whole entire nation is testament to the writing of Chris Chibnall.
I like 99.9% of the nation sat on the edge of my seat for about 9/10 weeks solid. It was intense viewing, so when it ended and it said in the end credits that it will return I was really doubtful, because how can it top THAT?!
It felt like that they were trying to cash in on it’s success. The danger with giving such a successful, arguably better off single standing series a follow up, is that it may well ruin the credibility of the original series and it won’t live up to the hype. After seeing the cast members joining everyone for the next series, I am… again, intrigued as to what the hell they are going to come up with to top and follow up from the end of the last series.
I mean, ***(SPOILER ALERT)***
David Tennant and Olivia Colman’s character are both essentially decommissioned after they discover the killer. Tennant’s character DI Hardy basically wanted to retire due to ill health and after Colman’s character Ellie finding out her husband is the one who murdered poor Danny, I don’t blame her for wanting to get away from Broadchurch.
The ending was so satisfying and perfect I don’t know how they are going to fit them all back into Broadchurch life, but not gonna lie I want to see Eve and James alongside everyone else and see their characters develop.. are we going to have another murder?? Who knows, it’s all going to be kept private and secret until last minute.. THANK YOU CHIBNALL FOR KEEPING IT SUPER SECRET FOR SO LONG.
Anywho, I can’t wait for the new series to come out now.
PS. I feel sorry for you Americans that have to endure Gracepoint, your version of our Broadchurch. I know it has Tennant, I know it has input from our crew BUT, let’s be honest it’s going to be pretty shit isn’t it. American remakes of our shows normally are.. *cough The Inbetweeners, Gavin and Stacey* #sorrynotsorry
